User Roles in InControl
InControl offers distinct user roles to help manage access and responsibilities across your organization. Below, you’ll find descriptions of each role along with a comparison chart outlining the permissions and actions available to each.
- Admin: Full system access. Admins can manage assets, configure settings, and assign or update user roles.
- Member: View-only access across the platform. Members can see data and activity but cannot make changes.
- Depot Viewer: View-only access to the Depot View page. Ideal for users who only need a high-level snapshot of charging activity at a specific site.
Permission by User Type
Note: Custom user roles can be created to fit specific needs.
For example, a Member + API role may be assigned to users who require standard read-only access along with API integration capabilities.
