Not getting notifications for charger issues or alerts?

InControl provides email notifications based on specific events to ensure that you are always informed about issues that arise.

You have control over who receives notifications based on charger status. Common issues include changes in charger status or charger communication problems. Our network operation center also receives these notifications, allowing us to respond to charger faults in real-time.

Navigate to the Notifications page on your menu bar

Once you're on the Notifications page, follow these steps:

1. Click 'Add Notification'

2. Enter a name for the notification and specify its purpose.

    • You can choose to send notifications for 'Charger Out of Network' or 'Charger Connector Status.'

3. Optionally, you can set notifications for specific sites and chargers. If you don't specify these, the notification will apply to all relevant actions on your account.

4. To add multiple recipients, use the section to the right of the notification form. Click 'Add Recipient' and enter the names and email addresses of those you want to include.

Be sure to include yourself as an email recipient if you wish to receive these notifications.

After filling out the notification requirements and adding recipients, remember to switch the Notification toggle from 'Disabled' to 'Enabled.' When the toggle is blue, the notification is active. Then, click the 'Create' button to save your notification.

The final step is to click 'Create' after entering all the information and enabling the notification.

This is how a notification alert will look for all added recipients:
