Recommended Best Practice: Use the Active Issues Widget

The Active Issues widget on your dashboard provides quick access to all charger issues across your sites, allowing you to address problems promptly.

Your dashboard includes a dedicated widget for all unresolved active issues. In this case, there's a warning alert for the charger named 'ICE80 (Service).' Click the dropdown button to view additional details and request service for that charger.

When there is an active issue with a charger, it will appear in the 'Active Issues' widget on your dashboard. This feature allows you to easily monitor and track unresolved charger issues. These issue warnings provide insights, including which charger needs attention, the specific problem, and any available potential solutions.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the 'Active Issues' widget and click the dropdown for the charger that requires service.
  2. Click the 'Request Service' button to open a service request form.

   3. Complete the form, providing as much detail as possible to help us support your issue effectively.

   4. Once you've submitted the service request form, you can monitor the case status in the 'Open Cases' tab, found next to 'Active Issues'.

Other Ways to Request Service
Chargers Widget

You can also use the chargers widget on your dashboard to request service for an unavailable charger. Navigate to the charger that requires service and click the dropdown button to access the request service option.

Click the dropdown arrow on any charger with an 'unavailable' status to request service.

Depot View

In your depot view, unavailable chargers or connectors are highlighted in red. Simply click on a red or unavailable charging space, and the asset list will automatically scroll to the corresponding charger.

Click the dropdown arrow to expand the charger you wish to request service for.

Charger Details Page

You can also visit the charger details page to request service. This option is ideal if you're looking to request service for a charger that isn't currently flagged for issues. For example, if you want to request service for RFID installation, this will be your preferred method.

On your dashboard, simply click the Chargers widget to access a list view of all the chargers on your site.

On the Chargers page, you'll see a list of all your chargers. You can scroll through the list or use the search bar to find a charger by name or serial number.

Once you've found the charger you want to request service for, click on it to access its details page, where you can request service regardless of its current status.
