Need to remove or pause an Authorization Policy? It’s easy to update or delete authorizations. For example, if an employee leaves and you need to revoke their access, just find the relevant authorization policy. From there, you can either choose to make inactive under the edit option or simply delete the authorization in it's entirety.

Here are the steps:

1. Navigate to the 'Authorization Policies' page on your menu bar.

2. Find the authorization policy you wish to deactivate or delete.

3. Choose whether to deactivate the policy or delete it entirely.

To DEACTIVATE an authorization policy without completely deleting it, click on the pencil icon:

This will open the selected authorization policy to edit

  • Scroll to the bottom to switch the toggle switch off
  • When the toggle is blue it is 'Active' and when it is black it is 'Inactive'.

After toggling the policy to inactive, click 'Save Authorization' to apply the change.

Once saved, the authorization policy will be marked as Inactive.

To DELETE an authorization policy entirely, click on the trash bin icon.

A warning message will appear when you click the trash bin to confirm if you want to proceed with this action.

Click ‘Delete,’ and the authorization policy will be removed from all associated chargers, vehicles, sites, or accounts.
