Detaching a Utility Rate from a Site

If your site is no longer associated with a particular utility rate, you can unlink it without deleting the rate or removing the rate plan entirely.

To unlink a rate from the Site Details page, follow these steps:

1. Open Sites page and locate the site from which you want to unlink the utility rate. 
2. In the site details page, look under the 'General' tab to find where your current utility rate in linked. 
3. You will see an unlink icon by your rate; Hover over this icon and you will be prompted with the option to unlink it from the site. Select OK. 

To unlink a rate from the Utility Rates page, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Utility Rates page from your menu bar.
2. Locate the rate you wish to detach.
3. Each site associated with the rate will have an unlink icon next to it. Click on this icon and then select 'Unlink'. 
4. A confirmation prompt will appear saying "When the utility rate is unlinked, the energy costs will no longer be calculated".
5. Confirm the unlink action by clicking 'Unlink'. This will successfully detach the rate from the selected site.
