Basic Interface Symbols


The InControl logo, located in the top left corner of the interface, acts as a home button. Click it anytime to return to your dashboard.

When you see the 6 dots next to a column field, click and drag them to easily move the field within a table.

You can use the star icon to mark any chargers as a favorite, making them appear first on various pages.

The arrow next to many fields functions as a dropdown button. Click it to expand and view more information.

This icon on reporting tables allows you to sort columns in different ways. Click it to view and select your sorting options.

This dropdown icon lets you access all filtering options for the current page or widget. Click it to see your available filters

The information icon appears throughout the InControl system. Hover over or click it to access additional information or definitions.

If you see blue corner icons on any widget or page section, you can click and drag them to resize.

This icon lets you expand any widget or page section to full-screen view.

This icon allows you to click and drag any widget or page section freely across the page to position it where you want.

Clicking this icon will open a new tab in your browser, taking you to another InControl page relevant to what you're viewing.

Click this icon next to any asset to locate it, taking you directly to the charger's location on the map.

This icon indicates that a utility rate is currently linked to a site. Click it to detach the utility rate.

The pencil icon indicates that you can edit the information you’re viewing. Click it to access the editing options.

The trashcan icon indicates that you can delete the information you’re viewing. Once deleted in InControl, any associated data will also be lost, if applicable.

Any text written in blue or underlined in InControl indicates an actionable item. Click it to access another page with more specific or detailed information about that item.
