If you have already plugged in a vehicle for a charging session adding it to InControl is simple.
1. Head to the recent sessions widget on your dashboard and locate the charging session.

Note: Vehicles already added to InControl and linked to their associated EVCCID will appear by the Vehicle Name assigned to them. Vehicles that have not yet been added will be displayed by their unique EVCCID instead.
For example:
- A charging session with the vehicle named 'B017' indicated that it has already been added and linked in InControl.
- A charging session with the vehicle listed as '141FBA16213B' indicated it has not been added to InControl yet.
2. Click on "Vehicle" in the recent session associated with the collected EVCCID. This will take you to it's vehicle detail page.

Pro Tip: Add vehicles one at a time to avoid accidentally linking the wrong EVCCID.
3. Click on the 'Edit Vehicle' button.

Pro Tip: Have the vehicle's VIN number ready, as it is essential for adding the vehicle.
4. Complete the 'Add Vehicle form'.

Once you enter the vehicle's VIN number, you can choose to autofill details such as its make, model, and year. Alternatively, you can manually input this information if preferred.
Mandatory Fields:
- Vehicle Name - This can be anything you wish to identify the vehicle as.
- Make
- Model
- Year
- Vehicle Trim
You can also choose to either enter your own vehicle parameters or click the 'Use Vehicle Model values for the following fields' to use our internal database information.
- Range, mi: Enter the vehicle's maximum range on full charge.
- Battery Capacity, kWh: Enter the battery capacity of a vehicle.
- Maximum Charge Rate, kW: Enter the Manufacturer specified maximum charge rate for the vehicle.

4. Once all the fields have been entered, click on the 'Save Vehicle' button to complete the process.
