Hello InControl Community!

Exciting news! Our latest software update includes enhancements designed to streamline your vehicle workflow management.

What's New?

Consolidated Vehicle Records

You’ll now see a single, unified record for each vehicle. Charging sessions that were previously divided across multiple EVCCIDs (Electric Vehicle Communication Controller IDs) or duplicate entries are now consolidated, giving you a complete view of usage history in one place.

Assigning Vehicles to a “Home Site”

Vehicles can now be tied to a specific site rather than just an account. This makes it easier to manage your vehicles and ensures you can view charging activity across sites when vehicles charge outside their home location.

Smarter EVCCID Management

Duplicate EVCCIDs have been eliminated. Each EVCCID can only be linked to a single vehicle, so your vehicle data stays accurate and clean. Sessions are visible in your reports only once the vehicle is registered and linked.

Key Term

EVCCID: Electric Vehicle Communication Controller ID — a unique identifier that links an EV to a charging session.

Example: A newly delivered fleet van starts charging. The charger collects the van’s EVCCID, which appears in InControl. When you link that EVCCID to the van’s vehicle record, InControl will show all charging sessions under that van
